Avatar Preview Display
The right-side area of the wizard contains the Avatar Display panel, which lets you see your selected AI avatar in action. This panel remains visible regardless of which section of the wizard you are currently in.
To use the preview display panel, make sure that your project has an active subscription.

You can also click the small arrow on the left edge of the frame to expand the preview area to full width, temporarily hiding the configuration panel for a more immersive view.

This panel features two ways to experience your avatar:
Video Preview Mode
Enabled by default, this mode shows your avatar in a 3D animation with subtle movements like blinking, smiling, and micro-expressions, giving you a clear idea of how it will appear to users.
It’s particularly helpful when switching between avatar appearances within the AVATARS section, allowing you to examine all visual details and pick the one that fits best.

The Live Preview button below the avatar switches the view from video to interactive chatbot mode, allowing you to test how the avatar responds in a real-time conversation:

Click this button to open the expanded Talk in menu, where you can choose one of the supported languages to interact with your AI avatar (the available options depend on the TTS settings you’ve configured). Once you select a language, you’ll enter Live Preview mode.
Live Preview Mode
This mode allows you to see how your AI avatar appears on your website once integrated as a widget and test its conversational behavior. The widget icon will float over your page content in the bottom-right corner, offering instant access to an interactive chat experience for your visitors.

Click on the chatbot icon to unfold it.

The widget supports two interaction interfaces:
- Live interface - shows an AI avatar in real-time, animated and responsive to user input, with replies delivered by voice.
Here you can also check how your avatar handles live voice conversations when streamed to a holobox.
- Chat interface - allows for pure text messaging with an AI avatar, facilitating interaction in situations where using sound isn’t possible or appropriate.
Regardless of which interface you choose or switch to during interaction, the whole conversation stays connected. This means you can move between Chat and Live modes at any time, while the full interaction history, including both text and voice messages, remains visible in the chat view for the duration of your current session.
Live interaction with your AI avatar through the preview panel is counted toward the conversation minutes included in your subscription and occupies one of the concurrent connection slots allowed by your pricing plan.
Now let’s take a quick look at the control options and functions the widget frame provides:
- Menu Icon (≡) – Opens chatbot preferences.

The shown Settings panel lets you switch the avatar conversation language and choose between Light or Dark color themes for the chat.

- Input area – Enables communication with the avatar by typing a message in the text field or using the microphone icon to speak, with both options available in Chat and Live interfaces.

- Fullscreen Icon (⤢) – Expands the widget for a more convenient interaction experience.

When in Chat mode, it just enlarges the corner interface. In Live mode, the widget goes full-width, with both real-time avatar view and text message area shown side by side.

Here, you can also toggle the placement of the avatar and chat panels with the view switch buttons (circled above) to match your preferred layout, and use the inward arrow icon to shrink the window back to the corner view.
- Minimize Arrow (⌄) – Collapses the widget back into its icon view while preserving the ongoing conversation, unless the page is refreshed.

To exit Live Preview mode and return to the animated avatar view, click the Video Preview button at the bottom of the frame.

This way, the built-in preview display lets you validate your avatar’s behavior without leaving the wizard, including testing changes after connecting a custom LLM, switching to a custom voice, linking external AI agents, or adjusting other advanced configuration options.
